There are so many changes in the health insurance and healthcare industry right now, but Hawaii small business owners must still provide insurance for their employees.
To make it more confusing, there are plans both ON and OFF the Affordable Health Act’s Hawaii Health Connector web site that you are being encouraged to compare, but the web site has been down and the small business calculator on the web site hasn’t been working properly offering misleading information on plans and benefits.
In addition, government agencies keep pushing small business tax credits and welfare subsidies.
HMAA and Smart Business Hawaii are sponsoring an Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) healthcare reform luncheon update on Tuesday, October 29, from 11 am – 1 pm at the Outback Steakhouse in Hawaii Kai to give you the most important information about what you are required to do as small business owners and to help you sort out all of the information.
Reg Baker, Smart Business Hawaii Director and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of HMAA, will be on hand along with two other experts (see below) to brief you and answer all your questions on health, wellness and insurance.
Not only that, you’ll be served a delicious lunch at one of our favorite restaurants, Outback Steakhouse in Hawaii Kai. Don’t miss out on this important opportunity.
Call Smart Business Hawaii at 396-1724 for reservations today.
