Maui’s state run hospital system is antiquated and similar to a third world country. We have a chance to improve the quality of life to all the citizens of Maui with a state of the art hospital, at no cost to the taxpayers.

However the very system that is antiquated dictates that they will not allow the people of Maui to have a better facility, even though the other islands have many facilities to choose from. Our elected leaders think the money for the state is more important than our lives.

They now say they want to make services equal to the entire island. That
