HONOLULU, HAWAII – In August of 2008, Livingston announced the sale of the last of his restaurants, Don Ho’s Island Grill, at Aloha Tower Marketplace. He has previously owned and operated Trattoria, Matteo’s, Tahitian Lanai, Crouching Lion Inn, Sunset Grill, Tower Grill and Davey Jones Ribs. He was unable to locate a buyer for the restaurant so it was taken off the market.

After enjoying several trips, Fred and his wife Nicki have decided they would like to travel more so have retained Monroe and Friedlander to again offer Don Ho’s Island Grill for sale for $150,000. A new owner could change the name or continue to use the Don Ho name with approval of the trustees of the Don Ho Estate.

Any one interested can contact Biff Graper at (808) 523-9737 or (808) 341-0107.

In the meantime Don Ho’s will continue to operate as it has for the past eleven years. Don Ho’s Island Grill continues to draw from a loyal group of local clientele as well as from the visitor industry. In addition, the restaurant has made a name for itself as a popular venue for fundraisers and private parties. Don Ho’s Island Grill originally opened in 1998 and serves lunch and dinner as well as Sunday brunch. For more info call 528-0807 or visit their website at HTTP://www.donhos.net
