The Hill 2010 Midterm Election Poll was released today to Hawaii Reporter showing the results of a poll between  candidate Colleen Hanabusa and incumbent Congressman Charles Djou. Results below. Click on images to enlarge.

The Hill’s poll was conducted Oct. 2-7, surveyed 406 likely voters via the telephone and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.9 percent.
The Hill 2010 Midterm Election Poll – Penn Schoen Berland conducted 406 phone interviews among likely voters in November congressional election in Hawaii’s 1st congressional district. Fielding began Saturday, October 2, 2010 and ended on Thursday, October 7, 2010. The following audiences are broken out in this report:
•    Base: Individuals who plan to vote in the mid-term election. (N=406, MOE ±4.9)
•    D: Individuals who consider themselves a Democrat (N=165, MOE ±7.6)
•    R: Individuals who consider themselves a Republican (N=85, MOE ±10.6)
•    I: Individuals who consider themselves an Independent (N=127, MOE ±8.7)
•    Males (179=XX, MOE ±7.3)
•    Females (227=XX, MOE ±6.5)
•    18-34: Respondents aged 18 to 34 years old (N=17, MOE ±23.8)
•    35-54: Respondents aged 35-54 years old (N=102, MOE ±9.7)
•    55+: Respondents aged 55 years old or greater (N=253, MOE ±6.2)
The Hill newspaper, along with Penn Schoen Berland, polled in 42 toss-up races that will determine who will likely control the next Congress.  This week (second week of polling), they looked specifically at 10 open seats. Next week, they will be polling 10 Districts with two-term Congressmen, and the last week  they will look at districts with long-term Congressmen. Last Wednesday, they polled 12 first-term incumbents.
