Am I the only person who sees hypocrisy for a group [the Grassroot Institute of Hawaii] to argue against virtually all forms of government regulation and subsidy yet make a point of providing tax deductions to its supporters which, in other words, means that it accepts an indirect form of subsidy by making support for it tax-deductible.
If the Grassroot Institute really is against what it says its against it would let the market [uninfluenced by tax breaks] decide whether it should be supported.
