The National Federation of Independent Business holds its Annual Legislative Breakfast on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Pacific Club.
Here lawmakers, including the governor, and business people come together to talk about business issues and legislation pending in the 2006 Legislative Session.
The NFIB launched this annual event to bring awareness to business-related issues and to give business people the opportunity to meet with lawmakers face to face to tell them about legislation that helps or hurts their business.
At this event, Bette Tatum, who was the executive director for the NFIB for 25 years, will pass the leadership torch to Melissa Teves Pavlicek, formerly a lawyer at Alston Hunt Floyd & Ing.
