Two of Hawaii’s most successful real estate companies have joined forces. On July 1st, Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers acquired Koa Properties Land & Homes, LLC. Koa Properties has been among the top-selling brokerages on Kauai for many years, and Neal Norman, R(B), the company’s founder and owner, has been one of the top-selling Realtors in the State of Hawaii for several years.
Neal Norman R(B) will stay on with Hawaii Life as the company’s top listing broker, as will 12 other Realtors from Koa Properties. The day-to-day management of Hawaii Life’s new Kilauea location will be handled by Anthea Adair, Broker-In-Charge of Kauai Sales.
Located in Kilauea’s Historic Plantation building, the location is among the most visible office locations of Hawaii Life’s (now) six offices around the State. “We just never needed big, high-profile, office locations, since we already run the most-trafficked Hawaii real estate website. Hawaiilife.com has really always been our #1 retail location,” says Matt Beall R(B), Hawaii Life’s Principal Broker and Owner.
“It’s something that’s been in the works for a long time,” says Neal Norman R(B), “I finally had the epiphany that, since I can’t beat these guys, I have to join them.”
The combination of the two company’s inventories will make Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers Kauai’s top listing brokerage, with close to $230 million in listings.
“It’s an incredible honor, especially that the clientele at Koa was so trusting to embrace this decision as being in everyone’s best interest,” says Beall, “But now we have to get to work. We have a lot of people counting on us. Once we get everyone up and running with our marketing and support, we should start to see results.”
With the addition of Neal Norman R(B), Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers is now home to four of Hawaii’s Top 100 Realtors, including Beth Robinson, R(B) on the Big Island of Hawaii, Ron Margolis R(S) on Kauai and also Roni Marley R(S), who was previously with Coldwell Banker Bali Hai Realty and joined Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers in June.
