Miss JT T.E.E.N Hawaii, Miss T.E.E.N Hawaii and Miss Hawaii Continental 2014 are Crowned

HONOLULU – In front of a sold out audience at the Blaisdell Center Pikake Room, three young ladies were crowned Sunday night.   14 year old Mahealani Sims-Tulba was crowned Miss JR T.E.E.N HAWAII 2014,  16 year old Kayli Taniguchi was crowned Miss T.E.E.N HAWAII 2014 and 21 year old Gwendolyn Kenwright was crowned Miss HAWAII CONTINENTAL 2014.  They will be representing Hawaii at the national pageant to be held in Houston, Texas in July.

Miss JR TEEN Hawaii 2014, Mahealani Sims-Tulba is the daughter of local entertainer Augie T and Kimberly Tulba. She is currently in the 8th grade at Sacred Hearts Academy. She has written and illustrated a book for children entitled, “It’s Okay to Be Different”.

Miss TEEN Hawaii 2014, Kayli Taniguchi is a sophomore attending Mililiani High School. She is the daughter of Michelle and Chad Taniguchi.

Miss Hawaii Continental 2014, Gwendolyn (Gwen ) Kenwright attended Leilehua High School and graduated from Chaminade University with a Bachelors of Science in criminology and criminal justice. She is currently attending Argosy University pursuing her Masters in organizational leadership.  She works as a manager at Abercrombie kids.
