This week’s Business in Hawaii with Reg Baker features Pono Chong, the Vice President of Advocacy and Development for the Hawaii Chamber of Commerce. Pono and Sherry Menor-McNamara (CEO of the Hawaii Chamber) is a powerful team with a loud and creditable voice at the legislature. Together (and with the help of many Chamber volunteer members) they help our elected state officials become more aware of the ramifications of the proposed bills they are hearing. With thousands of bills being proposed every year this is a huge task which the Chamber is consistently monitoring and staying on top of.
