Kalani High School students displayed their sculptures in the Capitol basement entrance, Wednesday, for opening day of the session.

The students, who visited lawmakers with their art instructor, showed through their sculptures, two sides of the political debate on several issues including healthcare, the economy, and education.

Some of the signs claimed Obama lied, people are being taxed to death, and healthcare can wait. On the other side, students emphasized the number of people without healthcare and living in poverty.
