The “do nothing” outcomes of the Copenhagen environmental summit that deeply disappointed the global warming advocates was another step in the direction of global cooling.
‘London’s Daily Mail’ reports that global cooling is actually happening and I quote:
*The world has entered a ‘cold mode’ which is likely to bring a global dip in temperatures which will last for 20 to 30 years.
*They are the work of respected climate scientists and not those routinely dismissed by environmentalists as ‘global warming deniers’.
*The warming of the Earth since 1900 is due to natural oceanic cycles, and not man-made greenhouse gases.
The research has been carried out by eminent climate scientists, including Professor Mojib Latif. He is a leading member of the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
Professor Anastasios Tsonis, head of the University of Wisconsin Atmospheric Sciences Group, said multi-decadal oscillations [MDOs, that is, fluctuations of ocean temperatures over several decades] will continue to determine global temperatures.
My comment is that conserving, “living green” and cost-effective sustainability initiatives are actions that individuals and governments should take. On the other hand, carbon footprinting and penalizing policies and formulas are insidious taxation to fuel green labeled endeavors most of which have highly questionable performance and substandard if not outright counterproductive output.
