Cindy Sheehan, whom the ”’Wall Street Journal”’ opinion writers have called “The media-created symbol of anti-Iraq propaganda,” and “An American-hating lunatic,” is in Honolulu tonight, scheduled to speak at the Church of the Crossroads about her views on the war in Iraq.
Sheehan, who has used her the death of her son, Army Spc. Casey A. Sheehan, as a springboard to build momentum for the anti-war movement, will promote the organization she co-founded, Gold Star Families for Peace, and her book, ”’Not One More Mother’s Child,”’ published by the Maui-based Koa Books.
Since her son was killed in Iraq in 2004, Sheehan has become a highly controversial figure, traveling from state to state and to the nation
