HONOLULU – Sean Na’auao will kick off the Hawaii Kai Towne Center Sunset Serenade Summer Concert Series this Saturday, June 21, from 5:30 p.m to 7:30 p.m. at the Waterfront Stage.
Na’auao, an artist, composer and producer, has won numerous Na Hoku Hanohano awards.
Mountain Apple Company Hawaii said about him: “Sean can’t remember a time when music wasn’t a part of his life. His career in music encompasses everything including composing original songs, producing himself and other artists, lead and background singer, bandleader, concert promoter as well as the founder of an independent record label, Poi Pounder. As a founding member of the Mana’o Company, that made a huge mark on the local music scene and is still heard on radio today, Sean began his legacy of hits garnering radio play and sales. His repertoire runs from the most contemporary of island music to the heartfelt traditional Hawaiian mele.”
Mele Apana of Hawaiian 105 KINE will be the hostess for the evening.
