The Grassroot Institute of Hawaii and friends are sponsoring a Milton Friedman 95th Birthday Celebration on Tuesday, July 31, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Pacific Club.
We are inviting those who want to share the importance of personal freedom, free enterprise and entrepreneurships — the message Dr. Friedman pleasantly pushed throughout his working life.
This is the first birthday that Milton will miss after 94 years. But we will not. We will get many local lovers of liberty together in one room to celebrate the enormous legacy Dr.Friedman has given to the world. It is a gift that with give forever.
Our keynote speaker will be noted author Doug Bandow. Other brief remarks will be made by a few of the many so greatly impacted by Milton Friedman’s innovative mind and incredible ability to communicate.
The lunch, which will be held in the Pacific Club Card Room, is $25.00 per person/$250 per table. Checks can be made out to GRIH to GRIH office, 1314 S King Street, Ste 1163, Honolulu, HI 96814. The deadline to RSVP is Friday, July 20 at noon.
