HONOLULU, HAWAII – Hospice Hawaii recently received $1,675 from Divas Going Good, the community service program created by The Wedding Cafe at Ward Warehouse. The funds were raised through a shopping promotion that encouraged customers to donate $5, $10 or $20 to receive 5%, 10%, or 20% off their purchases from The Wedding Cafe and its sister store, Eden in Love. Divas Doing Good used the money to purchase art supplies and gift certificates for art therapy for Hospice Hawaii’s pediatric care program, Mana ‘Olana Keiki.
“Our pediatric staff use arts and crafts as a medium to help our young patients and their siblings communicate their thoughts and feelings and create lasting memories,” said Kenneth L. Zeri, president and chief professional officer of Hospice Hawaii. “The generosity of Divas Doing Good will really make a difference in the lives of our patients.”
