Carroll Cox, who has his own Hawaii environmental media outlet and works with local media on environmental reports, is the victim of a second violent attack.
Cox told Hawaii News Now that his cars were fire bombed last night just outside his Mililani home.
On May 7, Cox was hospitalized after two hooded men beat him with pipes in Kalaeloa.
Cox believes the attacks are tied to his investigations of illegal dumping and leases on land owned by the Department of Hawaiian Homelands.
Some $3,000 damage was done to Cox’s cars Wednesday night.
In May, he suffered wounds to his head and arms as a result of the beating.
No one has been arrested in either case.
