Former Hawaii Surfer Victor D. “Bud” Wiley, Jr. Dies at 59

Victor D. “Bud” Wiley, Jr., age 59 of Waco passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2011. He was an Air Force veteran; served in Germany from 1970 to 1973 where he enjoyed skiing.

Victor lived in Hawaii for six years where he loved surfing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor D. and Bette M. Wiley; grandparents, Troy and Dora Wiley and M.C. and Mabel Deubler.

Victor is survived by his sisters, Barbara Ann Wiley Jones and husband, Patrick L. and Patricia Carol Wiley Von Dohlen and husband, Tim; niece, Kelly Allen and husband, Lembo; nephew, Patrick Jones, Jr.; nieces, Mary Elisabeth Denmon and husband, Brandon and Rebecca Rather; great-nephews, Colton Denmon and Hunter Whittle and great-niece, Logan Elisabeth Denmon.

Those who knew him will miss the twinkle in his eye and mischievous grin.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary.
