Sandra Froman, former President of the National Rifle Association of America, will be the speaker at a special luncheon hosted by the Hawaii Rifle Association. Hawaii has never had an NRA President, past or current, address the local shooting community.
Froman is active in promoting firearms education, safety and marksmanship training for all peaceable Americans, especially women and youth. She helped develop NRA’s Refuse To Be A Victim program and pilot the hunting component of NRA’s Women on Target program.
Froman is active in local, state and federal elections. She continues to work in Phoenix and on Capitol Hill on legislative matters. She was instrumental in the successful grassroots fight to pass legislation in Arizona recognizing the right of law-abiding citizens to carry firearms concealed for self-defense, and worked to pass legislation strengthening Arizona’s preemption law. An attorney in private practice, for 30 years, Sandra Froman holds an undergraduate degree in Economics with honors from Stanford University and a Juris Doctorate degree from Harvard Law School.
Also attending this special event are Carrie Herbertson (NRA West Coast and Hawaii Field Representative) and David Bundesen (NRA Advancement Officer).
HRA or NRA membership is NOT a requirement for attending this event.
