Former UH head coach Dick Tomey joins a panel discussion on “Ethics in College Athletics” with Jim Donovan, director of UH athletics, Nick Rolovich, UH football offensive coordinator and George Rush, head football coach at City College of San Francisco, on Tuesday, July 27, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the UH Mānoa Law School, classroom 2.
Dick Tomey was the head football coach for the University of Hawaii from 1977 to 1986, where he led Hawaii to their first in season top-20 Associated Press ranking in 1981. Tomey also earned Western Athletic Conference “Coach of the Year” honors. Years later he accepted the head coaching job at San Jose State, and retired in January 2010 and returned to his home in Hawai‘i.

Weinstein, money manager and former partner in two very successful investment banking firms, currently teaches at San Francisco State University, and leads a post graduate summer course, “Ethics and Integrity in the Real World,” at the Law School and the Shidler College of Business.
