Hawaii State Federal Credit Union Launches Annual Scholarship Program

Hawaii State Federal Credit Union (Hawaii State FCU) launched its 18th annual scholarship program.

Members and dependents of Hawaii State FCU attending a university, college or trade/vocational school can apply for a $2,000 scholarship. 15 scholarships will be given out based on financial need, academic merit and extra-curricular activities.

Since 1996, the Hawaii State FCU scholarship program has awarded more than $419,000 to help members pursue a higher education.

Applicants must submit an application form, along with most recent official transcripts, two letters of recommendation, a personal essay, student aid report, and a list of personal achievements and community service participation.

Completed application packets can be hand-delivered to the Hawaii State FCU main branch (560 Halekauwila St. Honolulu, HI 96813) or mailed to (Hawaii State FCU, Attn: Marketing, P.O. Box 3072, Honolulu, HI 96802). Applications will be accepted January 1 through March 30, 2013.
