HONOLULU — Heide & Cook will be featured in the 12th Annual Native Hawaiian Convention’s Small Business and Economic Development Summit on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at the Hawaii Convention Center.
Kevin Saito, Business Development Manager & Engineering Director, will be speaking on a panel with representatives from Hawaiian Electric Company, Aulani Resort, and Johnson Controls, Inc. to discuss effective ways for small and large businesses to work together.
“As a native-owned company that has just undergone a significant transformation, we welcome the opportunity to share our experiences,” said Earle Matsuda, Heide & Cook LLC President. “We are always seeking ways to partner with large and small businesses as we continuously try to position ourselves to be successful in today’s global market.”
The Small Business and Economic Development Summit is focused on helping small businesses to position themselves in Hawaii’s emerging markets and features six panel discussions and keynote addresses from Robert Robinson, Kolohala Ventures, and Jane Sawyer, Small Business Administration, Hawaii District.
“In developing the panels for this Summit, we looked for established and experienced companies that could share their mana’o with Summit participants. We know people want to hear from Heide & Cook given their history in Hawaii for over 60 years,” said Lilia Kapuniai, Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement Director of Programs.
