CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public`s assistance in locating Godwyn Foster aka Denise Foster who is wanted for two $20,000 cash only warrants for failure to comply with terms and conditions of HOPE probation.

On April 24, 2007, a Hawaii State Federal Credit Union teller and supervisor were opening deposit envelopes that were made at the Alii Branch ATM located at 1099 Alakea Street. One of the envelopes contained a photocopy of the original check issued from Diagnostic Laboratories to the account of Denise K. Foster. Through investigation the check was determined to be stolen. On July 18, 2007, the complainant noticed that his checking account was overdrawn and found that checks had been written to Denise Foster. The complainant and his wife allowed Foster to stay in their home in Oklahoma upon his release from prison and did not give him permission to write any checks.

Foster wrote a check as a down payment to a doctor stating that the check was from a relative who was paying for her procedure. The check was determined to be counterfeit and a police report was intitated. Foster called the office to cancel the appointment and was told that he could come in to the office and retrieve the check. Detectives were notified and waited at the doctor`s office. He was arrested upon his arrival for Attempted Theft in the first degree, Forgery in the second degree, and Attempted theft in the second degree.
