HONOLULU, HAWAII – Island Pacific Energy, Hawai’i’s largest operator of solar energy facilities, has moved its office to Foreign Trade Zone 9. The new location offers Island Pacific Energy a larger operating space, increased warehouse storage, and Foreign Trade Zone benefits including duty deferral and tariff schedule advantages. Island Pacific Energy moved from the Manoa Innovation Center where it has operated for two years. Its new office is located at 521 Ala Moana Boulevard, Suite 211, Honolulu, HI 96813.

“We wanted to take advantage of the benefits of having our office at Hawaii’s Foreign Trade Zone.” said Joseph Saturnia, President of Island Pacific Energy. “The larger office space, convenient access to warehouse space and ability to import products into the Foreign Trade Zone will help to further enhance our growth in both the commercial and retail solar areas. The result will be increased product availability and faster customer response time.”

Island Pacific Energy’s new office space is three times larger than its previous space. The larger warehouse space enables Island Pacific Energy to increase its inventory and provide are greater variety of photovoltaic (PV) modules and equipment for use in its system installations.
