HONOLULU, HAWAII – Kaiser Permanente Hawaii has the highest-rated Medicare and Medicaid plan in the state, according to the National Committee for Quality Assurance’s (NCQA) 2010-11 Health Insurance Plan Rankings–Medicare/Medicaid. Kaiser Permanente Hawaii’s commercial plan received top Hawaii ranking, earlier this year. All three plans are also accredited with NCQA’s highest quality rating.
“Having our members rate us as the number one Medicare and Medicaid plan in Hawaii demonstrates our commitment to providing all of our members quality care and outstanding service,” said Kaiser Permanente Hawaii’s President Janet Liang. “While others are just starting to move toward integrated, customized care, Kaiser Permanente is already successfully putting our patients first and leveraging technology to provide them with the highest quality of care and most convenient experience.”
The rankings are based on clinical quality, member satisfaction, and NCQA Accreditation scores among all reporting Medicaid and Medicare plans in the nation.
