Kamehameha Schools Leases Kapalama Warehouse Space to Courier Corporation of Hawaii

BY WALLY ZIMMERMANN – Courier Corporation of Hawaii (CCH) has signed a multi-year property lease with Kamehameha Schools on warehouse space in the Waiakamilo Industrial Complex located at 320 Waiakamilo Road in Kapalama. The lease is a 36,540 sq. ft. footprint.

“We needed to find the right facility in the right location for our business,” said Nick Smallwood, president and CEO, CCH. “We now have 60,000 square feet of usable space and we thank Kamehameha Schools and CB Richard Ellis with helping to facilitate our growth and expansion.”

CCH provides on-time delivery service, specializing in moving documents, packages and freight within the State of Hawaii and throughout the world.

Dana Peiterson and George Lacey of CB Richard Ellis represented Kamehameha Schools in the transaction. The space had been vacant before this lease agreement was completed.

Kamehameha Schools is a private, educational, charitable trust founded and endowed by the legacy of Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop. Kamehameha Schools operates a statewide educational system enrolling more than 6,900 students of Hawaiian ancestry at K-12 campuses on Oahu, Maui and Hawaii and 31 preschool sites statewide.
