According to police, Aerison is no stranger to the criminal justice system. She has been arrested and convicted numerous times in Colorado and other states for charges relating to fraud and theft.
Born Charles J. Daugherty, Aerison legally changed her name to Storme Shannon Aerison, but has been known to use several aliases, such as James Daugherty, Shannon Daugherty, and Teri Anderson. Police report that Aerison once used the false name Kimber Ireland, in an attempt to pass herself off as a half-sister of former supermodel Kathy Ireland.
“I am pleased that our officers were able to detain this individual before she could continue her history of criminal activity here on Kauai,” stated Assistant Chief of the Patrol Services Bureau Ale Quibilan. “We are grateful for the support of the Kauai Marriott staff and continued partnership with the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney in helping us to keep our community safe.”
