REPORT FROM THE OFFICE OF MAUI MAYOR – The Mayor Arakawa Community Kokua Fund, a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency is hosting the Mayor’s Kokua Ball, a fund raiser for the private charity on Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 5:30 pm – 9:30 pm at the King Kamehameha Golf Course, Waikapu.
“We are grateful to have Hollywood Film Producer & Financier, Ryan Kavanaugh, CEO of Relativity Media as our Honorary Chairperson,” explainsEvent Chairperson, Rita O’Connor.
This elegant evening features a celebrity-style red carpet walk with complimentary portrait photographs and a champagne greeting during the No-Host Cocktail Hour with live music.
Guests, along with the “beautiful people” and undisclosed celebrities attending the event will also have an opportunity to bid on stunning artwork donated by a select group of Maui’s talented artists during the Silent Art Auction, as well as purchase tickets for a deluxe luxury raffle package.
The Reception is followed by Chef Munoz’s award-winning cuisine with music and entertainment by Déjà vu Band, Aloha Ballroom Dance Academy, Maui’s own “Marilyn Monroe,” Emcee Mr. Charles Cook and open dancing throughout the evening – all for a great cause!
The Silent Art Auction features Maui’s most talented artists who will be attending the event to meet and greet the Guests: Elan Vital, Dario Campanile, Christina DeHoff, Jack Nordby, Marcello Bugagiar (The Twins), Roman Czerwinski, Nadine Ramelb, Taryn Alessandro, Kimmie, Julie Galeeva & Rafael Pereda.
