McDonalds® of Waipouli Celebrates Grand Opening

Mcdonalds logoMcDonald’s of Waipouli located at 4-0771 Kuhio Highway, Kapaa, Hawaii, will celebrate its grand reopening following a complete renovation. Customers will enjoy the new, sleek and modern look of the restaurant, which is now completely ADA accessible.

The celebration will kick off at 9 a.m. with a blessing by Kumu Sabra Kauka. A spectacular Chinese lion dance will follow at 10 a.m. Ronald McDonald® will make an appearance from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. There will also be balloon twisting at noon, glitter tattoos at 12:30 p.m. and live entertainment by The Kupuna Singers from 12:30 to 2 p.m. There will be games and prizes for the keiki. Guests will also enjoy grand opening specials of 80-cent cones and $1.99 small frappes (through Aug. 30).

McDonald’s Restaurants of Hawaii has 85 restaurants and more than 5,200 employees in Hawaii, Guam and Saipan. In Hawaii alone, the company has 75 restaurants and more than 4,600 employees. McDonald’s total economic impact on the state yearly, directly and indirectly, is about $370 million in spending and nearly 12,000 jobs in the community.
