Maxim has released its list of the “Hot100” – the 100 hottest women in America – and there’s one surprise on the list with a local tie to Hawaii.
The online news magazine lists Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Rihanna, Mila Kunis and Jennifer Lawrence in its top 5 picks.
But coming in at number 69 dressed in a black bikini is “Manti Te’o’s fake girlfriend.”
Manti Te’o, a graduate of Punahou School in Honolulu and Notre Dame university, recently signed a rookie contract with the San Diego Chargers.
Te’o made headline news for days earlier this year after he disclosed that his girlfriend, Lennay Kekua, who he believed died of leukemia in 2012, had not actually died because she was not a real person.
The woman, who Te’o only knew through texts, phone calls and social media accounts, was supposedly in a long-term virtual relationship with him.
Te’o later disclosed he learned she never existed, and he was the victim of a cruel prank pulled off Ronaiah Tuiasosopo.
Maxim said: “After Manti Te’o’s fake girlfriend hoax of 2012, we think it might be nice to have an invisible girl of our own to love. Why not? She’s got a ton of great qualities, including looking awesome in a bikini.”
And likely much to their suprise, there are more than 30 girls who rank lower than the invisible girl on the Maxim list.

Teo fell for a demented hoax by Ronaiah Tuiasosopo who had a homosexual crush on Manti Te'o. Maxim is a stupid magazine that continues to make it's readers even more stupid than they already are.
