The Honolulu Police Department’s Missing Person Detail, Honolulu Fire
Department, Department of Land and Natural Resources, and CrimeStoppers
request the public’s assistance in locating Daniel Levey. Levey was last
heard from on Monday, July 21, at 6 p.m. when he called his family and told them that he was walking down from the Maunalani Heights summit trail. When he failed to return home, the police were notified.
The scope of the search includes the west ridge areas of Manoa and Tantalus.
HPD and HFD helicopters, and staff from the Department of Land and Natural
Resources are searching the mountains.

*Caucasian male, 19
*5’3″, 130 lbs., slim build
*Brown hair, brown eyes
*Medium complexion
*Mustache, goatee
*Wearing white t-shirt, tan pants, white athletic shoes
*Carrying a black backpack
