Public Informational Meeting to be held for City’s Draft Storm Water Management Program Plan

REPORT FROM THE CITY & COUNTY OF HONOLULU – The City and County of Honolulu, Department of Environmental Services, released its draft Storm Water Management Program Plan for public comment and will be holding a public informational meeting to discuss the content of the plan.

The meeting will be held tomorrow, April 17, at the Ala Wai Golf Course Clubhouse, 404 Kapahulu Avenue.

The meeting begins at 6:00pm and parking is free. The plan is a requirement of the City’s National Pollutant Discharge and Elimination System (NPDES) Storm Water Permit HI S000002 and outlines steps the City will enact to reduce the discharge of storm water pollutants into State of Hawaii receiving waters.

Hard copies of the document are available for review at Satellite City Halls. Digital copies may also be downloaded from the City’s website, www.cleanwaterhonolulu.com.
