Honolulu, HI – The Hawaii Women’s Business Center (HWBC) will host the prestigious 23rd Annual Statewide SBA Small Business Awards Luncheon to salute 2010’s outstanding small business owners, exporters, advocates and entrepreneurs from across the state.

The luncheon will be held on Friday, April 30, 2010, at the Hilton Hawaiian Village from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The SBA Small Business Award winners to be honored at the event will be announced later this month by the Hawaii District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration following the selection of the national winners in Washington, D.C.

The Hawaii Women’s Business Center is planning an inspiring and exciting luncheon in celebration and recognition of the contributions that small businesses make to our community and economy. Participating sponsors include Clear Channel Communications, American Savings Bank, Bank of Hawaii, First Hawaiian Bank, and Pacific Business News.

The annual event features the “Winner’s Circle,” an exciting business expo providing the small business owners and advocates receiving the honors to showcase the special qualities and innovative business practices that have set their business apart and driven their success. SBA will also honor SBA’s top lenders and lending officers of the past year, and the top performing government contractors in the state with SBA’s Award of Excellence.

Advance reservations are required due to limited seating and strong demand. Tickets for the 23rd Annual SBA Awards Luncheon can be purchased for $55 per person by contacting the Hawaii Women’s Business Center on line at https://www.hwbc.org or 808 526-1001.
