BY BILL KANEKO – Rather than looking at the substance of Neil Abercrombie’s record in Congress or the details of Neil’s plans for Hawaii, Mufi Hannemann is running a radio ad that makes a disingenuous attack on Neil’s service in Congress.  The people of Hawaii want a change from these political tactics intended to confuse the public for personal gain.

Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi released this statement today in response to the radio ad:

“For nearly 20 years in the U.S. House of Representatives, Neil Abercrombie distinguished himself as an effective and courageous leader who served the people of Hawaii with distinction and honor. Neil Abercrombie was an outstanding Member of Congress and he will be an outstanding Governor.”

Read the facts about Mufi Hannemann’s latest attack on Neil and how it takes words out of context and distorts Neil’s voting record.  This is typical of a Hannemann campaign.

Over the next few weeks, as the Hannemann campaign bombards you with paid advertising, know that this election is in your hands.  Talk to people about who you are voting for and why.  Read about the issues you care about and share your thoughts.

This campaign offers a clear choice:  A typical big money campaign designed to protect the status quo, or a campaign fueled by your actions and your voice.  Neil’s campaign is about the people working together to shape Hawaii’s future.

  1. No one said Nancy Pelosi isn’t loyal to her “followers.” I agree with Bill that you should all get the facts on Neil’s performance in Congress, but you won’t get them from him, you’ll get them here; https://wp.me/pXJfe-3i
