BY MICHELLE JAMIESON– To set the tone for an incredible and one of a kind evening in Waikiki, the new “Luau at Jimmy Buffett’s at theBeachcomber” is being paired with the Magic of Polynesia Show and Return to Paradise starring Lani Misalucha.
Audiences will have the opportunity to experience a luau menu from Jimmy Buffett’s while being entertained by Oahu’s premier Polynesian Entertainment company, then they will have the choice to either enjoy magic, at the Magic of Polynesia show or music, at the Return to Paradise starring Lani Misalucha.
The Luau-Show package with the Magic of Polynesia starts on Thursday May 10th at 5:00pm, with check-in at 4:45pm (Monday through Sunday). The second option that guests will enjoy is the Return to Paradise starring Lani Misalucha, with the Luau also starting on Thursday May 10th at 7:00pm, Luau check-in at 6:45pm (Tuesday through Saturday).

The Luau menu will include: Kalua Pig – Wrapped in banana leaves and slow roasted; Local Island Fish – Grilled and topped with lemon garlic sake butter sauce; Huli Huli Chicken – Hawaii’s version of BBQ chicken made with cane sugar, soy & ginger; Szechuan Beans – Green beans tossed in light sesame, garlic chili sauce; Aloha Potatoes – Island sweet potato mash with a hint of cane sugar and vanilla; Lomi Lomi Salmon – Fresh tomato, sweet onion and scallions tossed with cured salmon served chilled; Fresh Salad Greens – Wonderful Fresh Green Salad with your choice of Japanese shoyu vinaigrette or ranch dressing; Mac Salad – Rich creamy macaroni salad; Poi – A classic island side dish made from taro and part of the ancient Hawaiian culture; Steamed white rice; and Hawaiian sweet rolls & butter. For desserts the offerings include Coconut Haupia, Pineapple Upside down Cake and Vanilla bean ice cream. Guests will also enjoy a complimentary welcome Mai Tai or POG juice upon arrival at the Luau.
