Aloha, I’m Tulsi Gabbard and I’m offering to serve you in the United States Congress…
Since I was a little kid, I began to appreciate the importance of aloha and serving others. Through my service in the US Senate with Senator Akaka, in the State Legislature, and now on the Honolulu City Council, I’ve always tried my best to be guided by this spirit of aloha. It was in that spirit that I joined the Hawai’i National Guard in 2003, and why I then volunteered to join my fellow guardsmen when they were deployed to Iraq.
It is in the spirit of aloha that I’m now offering to represent Hawaii’s second congressional district.
While we may not always agree on every issue, I want to assure you that I will always respectfully listen to your concerns, and always keep an open mind. I have a sincere desire to be of service to all the people of Hawaiʼi, and I’m confident that I will serve you well. I have the experience, the energy, and the determination to fight for you, our beautiful Hawaiʼi, and our great country. I would be honored if you would allow me to serve you in Washington.
I know I must earn your trust and your vote, and I promise you that I will spend every day putting you and your family first. With your help, we can make Hawaiʼi and our country even better than it already is.

Tulsi Gabbard is in the Honolulu City Council and is a former state House member
Tulsi: The first thing you have to do is learn to answer your official email. You are the only council person who does not answer your email. I have made repeated, polite, requests to you to know where you stand on certain issues. No response. Not good. Won’t vote for you.
Gabbard is moving too fast and shooting for the stars. I understand the need for great leaders yet she has still to prove herself on the City Council. She ran against my great friend and won, and I truly wished her well, however, laying your cards on the table for the office you seek is a must, Gabbard hasn’t accomplished ANY of the things mentioned in her ads promising same.
I am a Democrat by registration and registration only, I have voted in past elections on the tickets and candidates that are great for the job! I didn’t vote for Tulsi because I didn’t feel she had the right footwork in place and I was right! You need skills and you need to be a seasoned candidate before seeking an office like this. Barbara Marumoto do you hear the CALL?
First off, She’s a Gabbard
Second she’s acts like a Democrat
Third, my friends forced me to vote for her as Council person. My district.
I’m sure not going to support her for Congress
