One of the most popular activities of the Puakea Foundation of Hawaii Inc. is Bobby Puakea’s annual make your own paddle workshop.

You will not only learn so much about woodworking, tropical woods, power tools, and the paddling culture, you will go home with a paddle.

It is a great experience for young and old alike. Plus, learn how to repair your paddle, should it have any unfortunate encounters with the reef, etc.

You will learn so much about Hawaiian culture, about wood-working, about outrigger canoeing, and listen to stories about many Hawaiian legends, from on and off the water.
