Former Sen. Ted Stevens, 86 years old, was among the five people who died in a plane crash Monday in Alaska, a family spokesperson said. The plane had been carrying nine people. Sean O’Keefe, chief executive of the North American division of EADS and a former NASA administrator, was also aboard the aircraft. The company said it had no further information on his status.
